Fire Roast Pulled Pork Sandwich

Try This Recipe With Daniel's Fire Roast Salsa

Many Salsa2U™ recipes are based upon a recipe provided by the salsa manufacturer. However, we frequently modify these recipes in the Salsa2U test kitchen based upon the response of our taste panel.



1 Lb Boneless pork chops
1/2 Cup Daniel's Fire Roast Salsa
8 Slices Bread & butter sandwich pickles
4 Slices Provolone cheese
4 Slices Sweet onion (thinly sliced)
4 --- Kaiser Rolls (toasted)

Grill pork chops until done (at least medium). Use two forks to shred pork. Place shredded pork into sauce pan and combine with salsa. Heat over medium heat until salsa is hot. Build the sandwich with the following ingredients: place two pickle slices, 1/4 of pork/salsa mixture, one cheese slice and an onion slice on bottom half of each kaiser roll. Cover with top halves of rolls. Enjoy!

TIPS: Use pickled jalapeños in place of bread and butter pickles to add some extra spice. You can also substitute leftover roasted chicken for the grilled pork chop.
